Home WiP focus is on the first mile – from feasibility to first day of construction, as this is where the most money can be saved for the homeowner and the path for efficiencies is paved for the builder.

We are here to make sure the homeowners are not taken advantage of just because it is their first construction project. Let us build homes with less stress.

Second, to verify our subcontractors’ experience, we personally visit the job sites and call every reference. Therefore, you get the crews who have the right experience for your project and can meet your budget expectations.

Third, we know how to assess potential partners for quality as well as their ability to meet your timeline. This way your project is on schedule.

Our Story

Why We Started the Company

This company is built by homeowners for homeowners. To start with, we have been in your shoes. Moreover, 75% of the team still lives in homes they had built. As a result, we know the process intimately. We know what works. We did not like our own design-build experience. So we are working to change the way homes get built.

We have taken the design-build concept to a new level.

We go from envisioning to budgeting to planning and only then to design, permitting, and building. What you can expect is talking about all potential cost drivers up front.

We had an unpleasant situation with a client when we started work on panel upgrade at the start of our contract, not when the client started the project. It became our fault that PG&E took a year to upgrade the transformer and then the panel. We had learned the lesson.
